Our goal is to change lives for the better, so we advocate at national and state levels for laws that help make us all safer and stronger.
ADVOCATING FOR SAFE DRIVING LAWS THAT WORK
Curfews and other Graduated Driver Licensing laws have proven to reduce the crash rates of 16-year-old drivers by almost 43%. We worked to establish national safe teen driving standards, leading Congress to pass landmark safe driving legislation on June 29, 2012.
HELPING TO MAKE SAFER HOMES THE STANDARD
When disaster strikes, strong building codes can mean the difference between your home standing or falling—so we helped create the Insurance Institute for Business and Home Safety to research and advocate for them.
WORKING TO GIVE CUSTOMERS MORE CHOICES
Since insurance regulations vary by state, not everyone has access to the same apps, programs and coverage options. We advocate for uniformity across the country because it’ll give people more choices, wherever they live.
LEADING THE WAY TO SAFER ROADS FOR RIDERS
It can be extremely dangerous when drivers don’t see motorcyclists. We established the ONE program to help install the very first permanent “Watch for Motorcycles” signs across the U.S., reminding all drivers to look twice.
